Greetings from the President
of the Carver Alumni Association
We've heard the term, Carver Spirit, so many times but, what does it mean? To those brave students of 1996 and 1997, it meant being able to pursue talents that they loved in an environment that embraced them. Whether it was Theater, Visual Arts, Cosmetology, or in my case, Literary Arts, it gave us an opportunity to explore talents that we loved.
When I walk through the halls of Carver today, I can feel that spirit is still alive and well. In this second year of the Carver Alumni Association, please join us as we continue to embrace the Carver Spirit.
Thank you for everything that you have done and can still do for Carver Center. I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours in the Spirit of Carver,
Kandyce Kennedy-Jenkins, Class of 1996

Welcome To Our New Format
We've changed our format and our email delivery system since our last newsletter. We've started using Constant Contact, a presentation and email marketing tool for a number of reasons. It gives us more freedom and feedback in our emailing, allows us to align our newletter with our email much more efficiently, and it also standardizes what we do with what the Carver Center Foundation uses, thereby offering us more guidance, support, and collaboration with the Foundation.
We sincerely hope that you like our new look, and that the new communications process makes it is easier for you to keep in touch with CarverCenter alumni.
We will still maintain our email and website addresses.
